Because flight safety is an absolute priority, once the Civil Aviation Authority has audited a company, it issues an Air Operator's Certificate (AOC). No French company can fly without this precious certificate.
Air Méditerranée has had an AOC non-stop since it was founded in 1997.
The Groupement pour la Sécurité de l'Aviation Civile (Civil Aviation Airworthiness Authority - GSAC) supervises the bodies that ensure the maintenance of aircraft and renew each aircraft's Airworthiness Certificate. |
